Introduction to Licensing Act 2003

In order to trade you will need to have had a premises Licence or club premesis certificate for members' clubs granted. If you are selling alcohol, you will need to appoint a 'designated premises supervisor (DPS) who will need to hold a personal licence by the time he/she takes up the post.

- note that neither a DPS nor a personal licence holder is required for a club premises certificate
